On www.bearhollow.net you will find a teddy bear collector. Bears have been adopted by this collector. Bear have made themselves comfortable around the house and grounds. Bears are shown in the kitchen, family room, library, living room, dining room, office, garage, powder room, picnic area, garage, guest room, stairway, sun room, laundry room, hallway, and a few bear rooms. This is a very serious collector!

Beary Blue Bear Nook can be found at http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Nook/8514. Trish is the site owner who loves collecting bears. She will show you her collection and offer links to sites where kits and accessories can be found to make your own teddy bear. There are also links to teddy bear artists and a World of Miniatures page.

Lorie Barnhill, another avid collector, can be bound at http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/greenlawn/994/. She has over 200 bears for you to see.

There are some teddy bear artists who will sell groups of similar teddy bears they have designed to go together. There are also some unique one of a kind teddy bears that might be just right for your collection. Check www.designsbyterri.com for some adorable miniature teddy bears. One of a kind hand sewn bears can be found on www.tailoredteddies.com. Each bear is numbered and signed on the paw by the maker. Each one has it’s own unique accessories, too. Another great site is www.tbears.de. Owned by Karin Jehle, this site offers bears with their own personality. Karin spends hours creating each bear’s face. She also makes miniature crocheted teddy bears, some only 3 inches tall.

While you can begin your collection with regular size, miniature, figurines or giant stuffed teddy bears, there is a large variety of teddy bears out there. Maybe you want a collection that has a little bit of every-bear in it. You might want only a few or a few hundred. The choice is yours. There are hundreds of sites online that offer unique teddy bears. Enjoy looking and shopping for the one you have to have.
